Animation

Den 29/4 afholdte vi Animations-workshop, sidste inden 1. semester eksamen.

Afleveringsopgave

Purpose:
To practice CSS for animation and deliver an animated logo/portrait/mascot. Must relate to you personally. Not brand logos. This is something you can definitelly use in your Presentation Portfolio (exam project).

Preparation:
Choose which of the 12 principles of animation, you want to work with.
Based on the chosen principle, create a storyboard for your animation. It’s a good idea to get started with the sketches for your character/logo/object that you want to animate.

We recommend using Adobe Illustrator, some may benefit from starting with hand drawn sketches.

Plan for the day:

1)  Introduction to setting up sprite sheets in Adobe Illustrator

2)  Introduction to coding animation

3)  Make a storyboard and drawings

4)  Create your spritesheet from your drawings

5)  Calculate your grid

6)  Coding the animation

7)  Present by showing the result on your screen + storyboard to the audience

8)  Vote for your favorite

9)  Applause for the winners!!

Handin blog post on your Process Portfolio:

1) Make a blog post on your process portfolio

2) Describe the animation principle you have used. http://the12principles.tumblr.com/

2) Show storyboard

3) Describe process, from spritesheet to working animation, explain code used in detail

4) Show final result

Hand-in the link to your blogpost in the Animation Workshop Opgave (this document).

Procesbeskrivelse:

Refleksioner
